I think everybody knew Marty and Billie Joe. I was the gunner on gator 409. My commander was Lt. Shelton or "blue". My crew chief was Jimmy Pyland. I was with the 119th until mid August 1968. For over 30 years I wondered if everybody got home OK. Last month I found out about gator 297. It hurt.
