You guys just amaze me. I got my first "in country" ride, probably from a Blackjack, from Plieku to our BN firebase, LZ Beaver, which was somewhere in the An Lao Valley, near An Khe. I'm guessing it was about a 45 minute flight and they knew I was a FNG. There was only one other passenger and we were sitting way on top of all the resupply stuff, so that we couldn't even sit up straight. Anyway, they did their best to completely scare to crap of me, doing all these neat banks and I thought for sure I was going to fall out. Well, they did the job. To this day, I can't remember a single ride after that, they're all completely blanked out.
