Just received an MRE (Meal, Ready to Eat) from an active duty 2/35 soldier in Hawaii. I will have the meal for dinner tonight and let you know if there is an improvement from the C-rations which we had a steady diet of in Vietnam. On one occasion we had what I referred to as an "LRRP" meal. In my letters home I indicated that I really liked them but we never had them again during my tour. Dave Fogg B/1-35 68-69
