Army effiency!
I remember when the they took away our platoon 3/4 ton at Ahn Khe and told us that officers were'nt allowed to drive a truck, and that if we needed transportation then we could request a vehicle and driver from the motor pool, yeah right! It was all the way across the "Golf Course"
to the P.X. so we would just crank a bird and hover over, probably cost taxpayers $800, every time we wanted to go to the P.X.
