Thanks for the welcome. I never went back to Northfield after I got drafted, went in the Army, took the tests, went to flight school. I'd graduated from Mount Hermon and was in CA when I got drafted....farting around, not doing the things I should have academically. As I remember, Marty also went to MH? Well, if your memory serves you correctly, it wasn't cool to go into the Army back then.....especially after graduating from MH...most went on to Ivy League schools etc...

I ended up getting out of the Army in Jan '70 and taking a job with the MA Guard who were then looking for flight instructors with experience....stayed there until retiring in '88. Presently live about a mile from Paul Penney in Sandwich, on Cape Cod.

Sadly, I don't have many recollections of Marty as he was several years younger than me. My parents knew your parents quite well though..my mom and dad worked at the Northfield Schools (NMH) and knew both your parents. Also sadly, I don't remember either you or your sister. I'm 55 so that might explain the difference.
