Hi Kris,

Your Dad was and is a very special person. He will live on through all of us, but especially through you and your family.

I remember the first time he called me and we talked for almost an hour. We were both in tears at times talking about my brother Marty. You have no idea how much your Dad gave to me and helped me with what I was feeling about losing my brother. It was wonderful to hear how much your Dad thought of him and it made me feel better knowing that Marty had such good people around him at the end. I'm sorry I never got to meet your Dad. He will hold a place in my heart as near and dear as my brother does. Your Dad sent me a picture of you, your brother and your Mom. He was very proud of all of you - I'm not surprised - you are a beautiful family!
