"I was thinking and a thought crossed my mind but I won't say it to loud because I don't want to embarrass Jack. Do pilots like hit a peak in the I.Q. department then start to fall off as the years pass?"

Whew. Here I was thinking he was sort of acting a lot smarter than the Crocs I remembered. Maybe it's a sort of bell curve?

"I remember having to make them feel like they were in charge and helping them figure things out on the ship like where the main rotor was and that the tail boom was something that was important."

This from the guy who used to walk up the skid 200 - 300 feet off the ground and then reach IN the window and tap the pilot on the shoulder? Then hold on when the ship almost crashed as the poor guy filled his pants? I'm sure they all thought you were a BIG help.

"It could be the water or the lack of it."

Gotta be the water. Stuff is poison, my experience... well... it's okay frozen, as long as there's a LOT of it, like a mile or two, enough to sail an iceboat on.

"Maybe with some therapy we can help Jack."

I dunno, Ron. I haven't performed any miracles since 1969. I may be a little rusty.
