Eye surgery

My wife,Cherilyn had a lens replacement for cataracts in her left eye this morning. She is doing fine. So, you're probably saying to yourself; this is not unusual for a person nearly 60 years old, right? WRONG! Cherilyn is nearly Kathy's age, 41. So, how did she get cataracts? Actually it is becoming more and more common for young people these days because of steriod usage. How did she get too much steroids? She was put on Flonase for a period of three years by her doctor. Flonase is for alergies. The problem is it contains a powerful steriod. So check your meds and your kids meds for steroids. The medical community and the drug companies won't tell you, so you're on your own. The surgeon who performed Cherilyn's surgery confirmed the fact that steriods are giving him a lot of new business. Just a word to the wise, brothers and sisters.
