I changed the default for the number of messages that appear when you enter the board. I did have it set to 36 Months which meant it would show you all of the messages posted within the last 36 Months. Problem is it takes longer for all of them to load. So I have changed this setting to 1 Month.

If you want to see all of them or fewer of them you can set your own preferences in the "Set Preferences" area. Here you can change it to 1 Week, 1 Day, 200 Months etc. As long as you have "Cookies" turned on in your browser it will remember your preferences and when you return to the board you will have the same settings.

In short, no, none of the messages are missing, they just don't appear because of the settings. If you need to read something from farther back than a month, change your preferences to 2 Months or whatever you need. This thread goes back to May of 2001. I should archive again soon but I will let everyone know when I am going to do that.
