It had its good points. Oh yes, the beautiful Central Highlands. The prop wash, the red dust, the wonderfully great in country smell, the warm hospitable people, the sprawling modern suburbs.
But you are correct. It was a hell of a site between 1,000 to 8,000 ft. Just kidding in a way, the mountains were about the only thing that really kept me from being home sick. Other than that, I still think of it as the ass hole of the universe!!
