Hey Bob

I'm the guy that told ya about the boat that was rotting away next to the EM club. A once proud runabout, with about a 35 horse old brown and white Johnson outboard on it. I saw it when I first got to Holloway in April '67. I asked some of the old guys about it and found out that when our unit first got there somebody with some pull got the thing shipped there and that the unit used to use it for water ski parties out at Lake Bien Ho. Everything was great for a few outings until one sunday the skier noticed funny little water spouts and splashes around him in the water. Seems some dinks were on the hills at the far end of the lake and decided to do a little target shootin'. That was the end of the skiing parties.
