We all made a difference Puddin, we could go in and save some butt because the Crocs were above us kicking some butt. Pulling G.I.'s out of a firefight was about the most gratifying thing I remember...the smiles, the drinks at FOB Dak To N.C.O. club. the real admiration I saw on their faces made every hairy assed extraction well worth it. Hell Puddin, even the guys in maintenace and clerical were trying to get a seat as a gunner, not for air medals but to be a part of the greatest damn aviation outfit in the whole stinking R of Vn. papasan
