Still around. I'm in the process of typing all the Daily Journals (1/35) summaries and other notable stuff from my tour dates (9/68-9/69) and adding this to the 35th Inf Timeline. Hopefully we will document the 35th’s involvement in Vietnam, Korea and WWII.

This year the 35th's Inf reunion will be held in Seattle, Washington July 25-28, 2002. The 1/69 (Armor unit) will also be holding their reunion in Seattle (same dates). I asked the 1/69 if I could personally thank them for the support they rendered 6 March '69 regarding the contact we had on Hill 600 near Polei Kleng. I can't begin to explain the relief I felt when they broke through to reinforce us. The 1/69 invited me to attend their Regimental Dinner and I will hopefully be able to express my appreciation to them. I am so thankful for all the support we received from all sources during my tour. The older I get the more I appreciate what others were doing to support us. The 119th has given me an opportunity to express my gratitude for what they did and I am truly grateful for their efforts. Mark, one thing that I will never forget was your response to our participation regarding Gator 297, that had an unbelievable impact on me, one I cannot explain. That’s what I am trying to pass along to all who served/supported us.
