Sad thing that all of the decent South Vietnamese soldiers got killed early in the way, I have talked to a few guys that were there in 63-65 and they say that the officers then were brave to the point of stupidity. Guess that is why there were no good ARVN's when we were there. Although there were the ones that flew the Queen Bees, old h-34's and they would go anywhere and land anywhere, brave sons-a-bitches, but of course even they were killed off almost immediately. I hated them then but now after over thirty years I can see that they had been fighting for hundreds of years and just wanted to grow their rice. Don't have any room for hate anymore.....
