Any update on the reunion this summer, has there been any interest shown by the masses? Or has the hold thing gone up in smoke like the "smoke and joke" postings over the last 48 hours? Or is it possible “US” younger guys, post 67/68 are just having one large self-induced mass hysteria thing? Maybe there was never really a band of brothers after all. I remember that we all came and went on different time line, and in the Nam, three mounts one way or the other on that time line could place a person in an entirely different war. For one who was there in parts of 68 then retuned to the states to witness the madness over race, and the war. Who then come back in 69 to the same unit, and the same job only to find an entirely different mind set, IE internal wars between juicers and heads, Whites, Blacks, Hispanics, and Cajuns. To find that even our own offices would hunt us down with the intent of ridding the world of the hyped up war losing scum, I say, “let it go”, life is good now, and as a member of the unit I for one would like to meet all those that proceeded me, reacquaint myself with those that served with me, and make friends with those who came after. The one commonality being that of the, “unit” (the 119th AHC) while serving in a zone of hostility, and the love and respect granted one another in the interim.
