Ron, I remember when Shifty got killed, a very sad day. I was watching a special on the battle for Hill 875 in 1967 with the 173rd, and there were choppers with 119 on the door, also the 170th. Our unit has a lot to be proud of, a lot of very good men gave the full measure and I know that none of us will ever forget them. All of us, weather we drank, smoked or just sat at a desk and filed papers were a part of a crazy mixed-up war that we just tried to survive. Personally, I think we did one hell of a job!
