We were pulled for a combat assault from Swinger to establish LZ Cider. The area around LZ Brace was still hot and the brass wanted to start on getting a firebase at Cider operational before they moved from LZ Pause to Brace. Your unit had been placed at Mary as a blocking unit when we pulled Task Force Swift out of Mary to re-enforce Hill 947. I guess they figured you guys didn't need resupply that day. Every time we went into the valley to establish a new firebase we caught hell. The after action reports say we were unopposed. Bullshit. You couldn't go to the bathroom without a fight.
