My freind, being in my second year of High School probably attributes to my lack of knowledge. I have not studied the history as well as I probably should have and likewise should have kept my mouth shut. I appreciate your informing me and I am by no means too old to learn. You told me something I hadn't known and was happy to have been enlighted on the history.
I do know as a crewchief sitting left seat, that keeping most of those worn out helicopters in the air was a full time job for maintenance as well as the crew chiefs. Not being a pilot, but experiencing some of the aerodynamics of flight and watching pilots, if you slip down to the same level or a tad below, you're in for one butt bustin' jerky ride with the pilot having more than he would like to have going on. Most of that happened with "Peter Pilots" I beleive the Aircraft commander sat left seat, not right. Now there again, I could be wrong. I don't swear to anything anymore. Your Friend and Bro., Carl
