I have a picture of LZ Mary, we had just destroyed the bunkers because the 1/35 was being sent to Dak To (16 March '69). LZ Mary is also the LZ in which two wounded EM from A/3-8 wandered into (6 March '69) after becoming separated from their unit from the 3/4 March '69 fight. Later, at another 1/35 FSB, Sgt Jones from A/3-8 wandered in after evading the NVA for 10 days. I have the "Ivy Leaf" article describing his ordeal. I thank my lucky stars we did not run into the mess that the 3/8 did. Luck/fate sparred us.
