I remember hearing guys say they put pennies (you know $0.01 USA money) behind the buffer assembly, etc., to increase the rate of fire. Guys I talked to swore by it. Never heard about the socket deal, but that sounds interesting.

That's about all I know about that. Got to fire one every once in a while. I liked them. Better than a grease gun out the door. Another story for another day.
