A guy that I work with was a Ghostrider. He arrived at Holloway the day I left. He has many of the same pictures that I took. The ones I remember as the vag-a bons were the 170th. Their ships always looked like they had gotten the parts from a garage sale. The ones I admired was the 57th. They flew the same missions as us plus they had to live at Kontum. Talk about rocket alley. They always had the best lunches when we were flying in the Plei-Trap. Remember Mr. Thorton? Call sign "Thunder". Any time I flew with him it was lunch at Kontum because he said that their officier's club had the best hamburgers. I don't know about that but I do remember having some pretty good beef stew there.
