The 119th crews were great. I never flew with anyone else, but I can't imagine any better. I remember cork screwing down into a 3 canopy LZ. Lt. Shelton sat there looking straight ahead and listened to me and Jimmy Pyland. We talked him down and he had complete confidence in us as we had in him. The rookie Peter Pilot was amazed. We told him he would be doing this blind folded in no time.
