The 119th started long before me and extended long after me. The brave men started the Legacy of the 119th in the Central Highlands and the young men who followed our footsteps continued that true Legacy. I was with you in missions that far extended the borders of Viet Nam. I realise the work involved in contacting and staying in touch with each other. Do not confuse or misconstrue my statements. You all will know who the Phantom is at the reunion.
I have no question that those people in Viet Nam still don't sit around a fire and talk about the 119th. Where would you think the phrase, "I Crocodile You" originated and why? Would it be, as you all say, from "A Bad Ass Reputation"? The hardcore determination to fullfill the duty? Why do you think that all came about? I never heard a statement,"I Pink Panther You"or "I Gambler You".
