Then you won't mind when I call the 361st Attack Helicopter Company the PINK PUSSIES for their lack of cover for me, and nearly getting me killed. They were doing something, I don't know what you would call it, cause it was too far away from the LZ for them to be seen much less to cover me. I would have had no problems on the first approach if I had been covered by the Crocks, the Buckaneers or the Galdiator guns, for they would have given Charlie a reason to go back into his shell. But when you are boring holes in the sky so far from the action that you don't realize that action is taking place, then you ain't doing your job.

Those of us who put up with their inexperience, lack of knowledge, or just plain cowardice, choose your own acronym, have earned the right to say what is on our mind. If you weren't in the hole with us, then you don't know what we were going through. Charlie would have never rolled the covers off of the 12.7mm or the 23mm if the crocks had been there, they would not have survived the incident. But what ever powers that were, who assigned the PINK PUSSIES to the task, should be given the opportunity to see big bullets pass through his aircraft just like I did. I think that they would have changed their tactics.
