Every once in awhile I have to sneak on here and let you guys know about the programs they put on at the local school for the Vets.

I think I've mentioned before they are planning a special program for all the soldiers who were killed in Vietnam who were from CT. That's going to be the first part of May. The Traveling Wall will be at the school and they painted a map of CT on the wall at the school listing the names of all the fallen soldiers from the State. It's the ONLY memorial in the State that lists all the names!!!

I just found out yesterday that one of the keynote speakers is going to be Bruce Crandall who was a helicoptor pilot for the battle depicted in "We Were Soldiers Once....and Young". It's pretty exciting! I hope anyone who is in the area and can make it will. It's May 9-12th. Will fill you in on more as the time approaches!
