Funny, I've had several "outsiders" (and don't ever let ANYONE say you're not ONE OF US!!) look at me very strangely when I said that to a 'Nam Brother or Sister...they obviously don't have a clue just what meaning it has. Like we all say, or at least think from time to time, "for those who have fought for it, freedom has a flavor the protected will never know." Well, I never actually fought for it, but I was there with and supported and
lived with and loved those who did.
