Hey Guys -

My Ranger Friend passed away a few days ago. While I was not able to attend his memorial, I wrote a few words for him that I asked by read at his service. I hope you don't mind if I post them here for you to share. He wasn't a Gator or a Croc or even a member of the 52nd Bn, so I hope you don't consider this inappropriate. He was a Ranger.

Hand Salute! My Ranger friend
and follow with twenty one guns.
Your current tour is at an end,
but another has yet begun.

A Ranger is our country's best,
steadfast, brave and true.
Your tour reflected these ideals
and many more for sure.

Though the flag flies lower now,
