For the guys who flew in the area of Kontum there is a pretty good web site about the battle of kontum that occurred in the spring of '72. The site is at www.thebattleofkontum.com After the 119th was deactivated I was sent to Kontum and crewed a slick in the 170th ahc. The 57th was involved in the battle and lost some aircraft there along with a few other units. Take care all.
