Mary Beth, My happiest moments were spent with my sons, I wasn't there for the birth of my first son in 1969 but was for my second son. There is an indefinable difference between happiness and excitement. I cannot compare Vietnam to my sons, one was heart-pounding and the other was heart-warming. I was there first from June of 68 until January of 1970 and my second tour was from May of 71 till April of 72. Thanks for reminding me of how important my sons and their families are to me.:) But this family is also very important!
