it was still daylight, we had just gotten "upstairs", and he grabbed the '79, snapped it closed, and poked to muzzle out the small hole
in the bottom front of the chainlink "grenade screen", hollered something about "YOU F******g
G****s, and we heard a "thoonk", and the deed was done...either the projo did not arm due to insufficient travel, or it was a dud, but it landed right behind the rear wheel of one of the Mpoeds, in the red dirt, bounced and just lay there. talk about QUIET...... then - DO MAMMY!
YAK-YAK-YAK.... and then it tapered off...
