Ever have memories of being in formation and flying LOW LEVEL and thinking how smooth a flight we were having just, I mean, just over the tree tops. Ship's full of grunts getting a kick out of all of it looking around all wide eyed and laughing?

We no doubt in my mind, had the best pilots that God could have put in a unit!! Those guys actually saved our bacon so many times and we probably didn't even realize it! Sitting up front with 1/4" PlexiGlass and Sheetmetal as their armor,what can I say.
Cyclic in one hand, Collective in the other and both feet on the pedals ready to make spontanious adjustusments with two crazy assholes in the back giving blind direction to them, they managed to fly those damn things like no one could ever imagine.
I think the Chopper Pilot never received the true credit they deserved. Especially ours....
