Pickett,

I'm sure that everyone has their own version of the "Corbin Spin". The one that I am familiar with is a full power, cross controlled drop from the sky. Full left pedal, full left cyclic slightly forward (maintaining 80 to 90 Kts)and drop the collective. This will give you a nose low, yet fairly level drop, the VSI will peg in the drop, the airspeed will remain constant and the tail will make circles in the sky behind your back. Man what a ride.

Center the pedals and the cyclic and start adding power and you come out decending but level and scooting for the tree tops. It worked for me a time or two when we were across the county line. (P.S. better let the crew know what is happening, for they may feel safer playing superman trying to get away from the impending crash)
