Hey buddy you need to remember that this is a government agency. If they ask for one thing give them three. I've never dealt with the DAV a but I have had words with the IRS. I showed up to one little hearing with three boxes and two shopping bags of garbage. By the end of the day they gave me a bigger refund just to get rid of me.

Just keep asking questions tell them you want to feel out some forms and pretty soon they will take care of you just to get rid of you. And kill them with kindness. They can deal with hostile people. That's what they are trained for. If you say please and thank-you it screws them all up.
