That was my favorite, although I didn't get enough of a variety to discover them all, I'm sure. Beef and rice sure did beat the Ho Chi Minh Racin' Slicks off the WaterBuff in the chowhall.

I didn't have the pleasure of chowing down for very long at the 119th "Dining Facility" (as they call it these days), because very early in my tour I was attached out to HHC, 52nd, and went to their
MESS HALL if I went at all. I'd bet a $100 bill that was on no more than a couple of dozen occasions. (TINS). It was very bad.

I subsisted almost exclusively on what I got from my "care packages", (from my parents and roomie's family), PX pogey bait, and C's and LRRPS I could scrounge.

Bottom line, Lurps (in my not often humble view)
WERE THE TOPS !!.

It may be a few days, Tom, but I'll nose around out here and see what I may be able to come up with. There's a gun show in my burg this weekend,
and some of the regulars have great connections.
I also know a guy on the SERE staff at Belvoir.
He prolly will be my best bet if gun show's a no go.
