Today at "THE WALL"

To The Entire Net and For The Entire Net.

At 1:00 pm today Tom Lumpkin and I met at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington DC. As many of you know from my previous post, today marks the 35th anniversary of the loss of three 119th AHC Crew members. Every name on "The Wall" is special to us but most of us have one or more that mean something personel. I have made my peace with the loss of Croc (UH1C 66-00596) James Allen Bullington, Timothy William Kearney, and Richard Charles Gupton. As long as I am able I will visit them on this day each year.

Carl: For you and the rest of the Flight Tom and I thought of your friend Bobby Ray. He will be remembered each time I visit.

Dave: For you and the rest of the Flight Tom and I touched each of your friends Martin Given, Robert Story, Billie Joe Ontis, Eddie Sumpter, Charles Rein, and Warren Haugen. They will also be remembered each time I visit.

I also ran Printouts of the Incident report for each individual encluding the Crew of Croc 596. Some of them had comments left by friends. The printouts were left at the base of the panels. People who visit "The WALL" will pick them up and read them and maby remember them with a prayer.

If and when time permits we should all go to "The Wall" web site and post comments about are brothers. I print these out and leave them each time I visit. My next visit will be Memorial Weekend for Rolling Thunder.

Your Brother for Life Tom Gator 851
