Skid was a dusty light yellow, much like a golden retriever.

The way I heard it, sometime after the main body of the company moved back from Anh Khe (for about the second or third time in '70, I think), Skid was killed by a 3/4 ton right in front of the 119th Orderly Room. Story had it he was chasing a monkey that had been throwing rocks at him...
