Hey everyone!
Good to see you guys are still at it! I check in off and on but don't get a chance to keep up. Rolling Thunder caught my attention though! I'm on a committee to organize bringing the Wall to Belfast on June 21,22,23 - and am working out how to get some camping space for a group of guys from Rolling Thunder and United Bikers of Maine - and the space they want is right down town by the water where the Wall will be set up. I'm keeping it quiet so far - figure I'll raise fewer hackles that way. They tell me they will behave themselves - but for some reason having a guy dressed in leathers, covered with tatoos and grinning from ear to ear isn't very convincing. What the hell - they're there to help. It'll work out. Besides, Belfast has had a long standing with Harley riders and its not good to break tradition.
So we're really looking forward to this....Mom is going to be the "premier" Gold Star Mother and will lead the Pledge of Allegience on Saturday. I've already met a bunch of great guys - no one who served with Marty yet, but if any of you are looking for someone up here, let me know. We will have a message board and I'd be happy to post a note for any of you.
