To All:

Only today, 5 June, I received information that one of the banks in our area will be saluting veterans during the week 1-5 July in conjunction with of course the 4th of July. Pictures and other mementos are going to be prominently displayed in all their lobbies in a 2-parish (county) area. I have Ralph's memorial framed and ready to bring in. Funny it happened today. It's weird though, when it's January 10th, I know it's Ralph's birthday, but the significance of this day eluded me. So, thank you Dennis for your kind words about my friend, Ralph. Hearing from Alan, and about Ralph, brightens-up my day, and especially today. And to all of you, thanks for your service to this great nation. I was in denial for 30-years about Ralph, but the members of the 119 Avn Co, especially Alan for just this type jester today, made it possible for me to get on with it. Kenny Bottom set me straight, and I thank him from the bottom of my heart. As the chill bumps rise on my arms as I enter these words, I like to think he's still around today. I do so wish he had come home.
