Well, I finally did it! I managed to hook up with Pal Flagg an old buddy of Marty's from Ft. Wolters. He had some interesting stories to tell about Marty learning to fly! And even more stories about what a hell raiser he (Pal, that is)was growing up. He said the most amazing thing he accomplished that Marty would not believe, were he with us today, was that Pal had managed attain the level of "Colonel" during his military career! After hearing some of his stories, I'm also amazed!

He gave me a "business card" that the guys had made up while in Vietnam. See if it rings any bells with anyone else out there - it reads:
