Got home late Sat night and logged on the see what's been happening. Looks like its been pretty quiet on this front. I have had some recent e-mails from Pete "Beatle" Daly, aka Croc 3, from the 70-era. Pointed him over here.

Also got an e-mail from Deidra Roussell. Isn't it strange (and wonderful) how we can wrestle with demons for 3 decades, and then suddenly discover that we are still part of a team; and that we aren't alone with those demons? In the last year, I have had contact with three sisters, four good friends, and one father of men I served with who were KIA, and have mourned in solitude. From vigorously suppressing memories, I have now come to actively "dig" them out.

Along this way, I have regained contact with some of the wonderful men I came to love as brothers in that far-away place and long-ago time. But the biggest and most surprising bonus is making contact with "our ancesters", those who served before our time and led the way for those of us who came later.

I deeply regret I will be unable to attend a reunion being held in my childhood's back yard; but other and prior commitments preclude it. My thoughts and my prayers are with you all, every day, and in every way.
