Just switched from reading murder/ horror mysteries to books written on Viet Nam by various persons. Think some of these writings compare with the best horror stories on the market.

Has anyone ever known any of the tunnel rats? The only one I've ever found on them is: The Tunnels of Cu Chi. I remember going to the Cambodia border where they suspected tunnels came out..but at that time..we didn't know exactly where. It was a beautiful Cao Dai Temple in the middle of nowhere (to me). Strange scary feeling. Now I know why.

Just finished Chickenhawk. Wondered if the 119th experienced much the same. Helicopter Assault Company.

Now reading Survivors. Garwood was at this place working for the VC. Poorly written but seems to be sort of a verbatim interview with some of the former prisoners that survived there.
