Eugene,

If you have maps for Oklahoma and Texas that you purchase from the local gas stations, you will be in like Flint. If you are in fact driving down to the reunion, I would assume that you will be driving South on Interstate 35 heading for Dallas. If you are passing through Oklahoma City, I would recommend that you take I 40 East to Henrietta, OK, then take the Indian Nation Tollway, South to Hugo, OK, then continue South on Highway 271, South to Paris, TX and stay on 271 Bypass (turn East) until you reach Highway 82 to Clarksville, TX. All roads so far have been four lane roads or interstate or Turnpike, and the road to Clarksville will be Six lanes at first, and within 15 miles it will drop to a two lane road with wide paved shoulders until you reach Clarksville. Drive through Clarksville and continue on Highway 82 for another Eight miles to Annona, TX. Then turn South on TX Hwy 44 to Boxelder. Turn West (right) on TX road 412 and drive 6/10ths of a mile and turn South on CR 4621, (this is where the driving shock takes place) a single lane asphalt road that eventually turns into a gravel road. You should have seen several signs by this time if they haven't been trashed, if not continue to drive until you come to an area with three gates, take the middle gate (painted rust-red and has a bar over the top of the road) to the South then West then South until you reach an area with a small pond and three large Oak trees on the right side of the road. Turn Right and drive down the hill behind the dam for the small pond and take the first road to the right (about 300 yards). If you make it this far you will at least see someone.

In case of an emergency, you can call me at 713-542-0553 my cell phone. It will be a long distance call from the Northeast TX area, but you can at least leave a message, and I will get with you as soon as possible.

If you are flying, what are you flying? Will it land in a pasture? If so be sure that you land parallel to the road, the pasture used to be a cotton field and the old rows run parallel to the road. The closest airport is in Clarksville, it is short so don't fly nothin big.

Click on the 119th REUNION button at the top of the page there you will see directions and a map that can be called up. You can change the size of the map by clicking on the map size bar on the top left of the map border. You can get and print maps of the local area using that prompt. The red cross is on the pasture for the farm.

Take Care,
Dave
