WOW!! I just got back (late last night) from 10 days away from home; and found 257 new messages from you guys and gals (and yes, Mary Beth, I did get your message, but only this morning -- didn't ignore you -- just haven't had time to visit!)!!
I truly envy all who were at LZ Alligator and Camp Boxelder; I would have been there if I could have swung it. My summer schedule is usually set about 1½ to 2 years in advance, and it is very difficult for me too rearrange it.
I was up 'til 2 am looking at Gene's album and didn't get all the way through it, but I recognized so many of the locations; and even the faces were familiar. Truly wonderful; thanks Gene, for sharing them.
You can count me in on the Memorial Tablet, just let me know when, where, and how much to send.
Bob T., if you get a chance, look up my old flight school buddy and our fellow 119th A/C, Patrick Walthall; he lives there in Cowtown and would be happy to hear from you. Drop me a line at dwilson@trib.com and I'll send you his phone number. Or send him a message at: patchris@prodigy.net
I gotta million things to do, including building a new computer for my daughter who left for college today. I will be around, but may not be very vocal 'til I get caught up.
