While perusing my "prior service" 201 file this evening,(it turned up on my desk in 1985 while on my last tour to Germany) I located the orders referenced above, awarding the Army Commendation Medal to nineteen members of the 119th. Until that time, I didn't know about the award.

First on the list is Carl G. Brader. Much belated congrats, Bro. Carl- did you know about this award? Yours is for the period 12May70 to 12 Oct 70, for "meritorious achievement in connection with military operations against a hostile force"
