Before Ron was my Gunner he gunned for Willie Wilson (CE) and Skip Strickler (AC). You are correct about the number of days till DEROS. Ron was a first class Gunner and a heck of a guy. He would go the extra yard any time. Did not know Richard Allard that well but the fact is their loss was a senceless act.

I am not defending what happened in any way but we all got a little stupid from time to time.
