Bob-thanks for saying what we all know went without saying.I remember one nite entrac of a lrrp team -where we were the backup ship- listening and watching the pickup ship go down into the dark as the lrrps blew their claymores to mark the lz-and I am sitting in that door thinking-" that should be us."I believed Capt. Rameriez,Eggy,and I could do it better.A couple of weeks later I got my chance on another nite Tac,and we were the pickup ship,and after that one was hoping we never had to go out there in the dark again!
