Baby Huey,Jim Beattie,and Greg Persons just left my house here in Ft Worth, Tx. this morning. They are the last of the crowd that arrived at my place Friday evening for a get together dinner and a Saturday trip to Mineral Wells, Tx to attend a meeting of the Ft Wolters chapter of the VHPA. Others at the Friday and Saturday shindig were Willie Mahan (119th) and John Grow (155th and 52nd BN HQ). In addition a couple of other flying buddies from my past, Audie Stern (11th ACR) and Ken green (101abn) were there.

At the Saturday meeting in Mineral Wells, Dave(Baby huey) met a couple of other 119th pilots that he knew and a few pink panther gun drivers from the Camp Holloway.He had not seen most of them since 1968.
Willie met some of his old buds. I'll let them tell those stories.
Friday and Saturday evenings we had good food, drink and company. At our age who could ask for more. Sorry that you all could not attend.
