Vietnam Veterans Memorial - 20th Anniversary

In an email I received from BSIT if anyone is interested....

----------

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, the nonprofit
organization responsible for building the Vietnam
Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., will
commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the most
popular and most heralded memorial in the nation's
capital with a series of special events and
activities from November 6-11, 2002.

The Memorial Fund activities will feature: A
Musical Tribute to Vietnam Veterans (November 6),
Reading of the 58,229 Names (November 7-10) and
the Annual Veterans Day Observance at The Wall
(November 11). More than 20,000 Vietnam veterans
and their families are expected to descend on the
nation's capital for the November festivities.

The Memorial Fund is seeking about 1,000
volunteers from November 7-10 to read the more
than 58,000 names. Also, the organization is
providing a unique opportunity for amateur and
professional musicians to perform songs of honor
and remembrance near The Wall during its Musical
Tribute to Vietnam Veterans on November 6.

For more information, please see the attached
press release or visit the Memorial Fund's website
at www.vvmf.org. If you have any questions, please
do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

Alan Greilsamer
