I do recall them locking up weapons, but of course, that was only the ones they knew about. We were allowed to keep our 38 though. (LOL) They
didn't know about my Carb 15 or Swedish K. I do remember an incident in one of the enlisted hooches that involved the discharge of a weapon that lead to them being locked up. (Dumb) Also, the second time we went to An Khe they locked them
up because of some threats against 1st Sgt Fields.
However, I don't believe the threats were from the
EM. I believe it was from the WOs and supported by everyone else in the company.
