Courage is something that is ingrained in all of us, some more than others. But we had a leadership in our unit that recognized those traits and they kept only the best. If you survived the unit for four months you were one of the chosen ones, the rest fell by the wayside and they were quietly transfered out of the unit.

Almost every person that I know of in the 119th thought more of others than he did of himself, and that is what gave our unit the spirit that we all enjoyed.
